Re: Wanting a good book
Found a few on Amazon UK http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bugging-Out-David-E-Crossley/dp/1291266836/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1363728838&sr=1-1 Page 27 reads well, as it is based in the UK, and I think he (the author) has some useful knowledge. It looks like a new addition judging by the da...

Re: Wanting a good book
On the subject of bugging out or bugging in, does anyone have any recommendations on where is the best place to find such books on the UK market at a reasonable price? Amazon do quite a few , I even bought a couple of Ebooks off them, but quite honestly you will find most info you need online, goog...

Re: Guns,air rifles and weapons
I'm sure you know exactly how to, and what you would do so, so does it really, and I mean REALLY, need to be discussed on here? I came here to learn some useful stuff about prepping, I am sure I could find similar stuff on lots of other forums on the internet, especially on some of the ones in the U...

Re: security
ive said it before , a simple alarm mine . uses a blank shell , lots of noise and mayhem usually after its been tripped ..makes the buggers think they`re being shot at . less than the cost of a good digging spade and legal to use . http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alarm-mine-for-detering-intruders-/111025...

Re: growing land
I had the chance to add to my patch by renting a neighbours patch, but I wasn't going to be taken for a mug as she hasn't touched it ever, it is covered in brambles and other under-jungle growth, said I could have it for three months rent free to clear it, and then she wanted £10 a month for a strip...

Re: security
Security cameras like they use for wildlife watching, not cheap, but the alternative is to remove all the tools and take them home each time.

growing land
I guess this might have been asked before, but how many here have a piece of land to grow edibles in, root veggies, Peas, beans fruit etc.
I have a little patch that does give me some fresh stuff, but last year was a bit of a washout one way or another.
How much, if any, do people have?

Re: Home CCTV on a budget?
Much the same here WP except I would suggest getting one of their 8 channel models. They sell them with 4 cameras but it gives you the choice to expand later. I suspect as soon as you have 4 cameras you will wish you could have 6. This way you can expand the system as and when you can afford to. At...
