Re: Optimus Crux / Jetboil Alternative

Now that.....is a nice bit of kit!! Thanks for that, I think I might wait and get one of those!! Decisions decisions!

How are you finding yours? Is there enough clearance on the burner to use say a mess tin if you needed to? Does it fit in the pouch with a 100g canister?

Re: Pen knife ??

Hope I'm ok to add something to this thread, rather than a specific new thread!

Just thought I'd let you all know that the Victorinox SAK - Camper is £15.50 at Tesco Direct, so delivered to your local Tesco for free. I had some vouchers to use online so paid £10.50. Might be helpful to someone.

No problem! I'm a bit of a bargain hunter so you can expect a few more threads from me!

For the record I have no affiliation with Tesco ;)

Tesco - Windproof Lighter - Turboflame-esk!

Evening, Went to Tesco earlier for a few bits and pieces and saw these, thought why not. Didn't expect much but needed a couple for the GHB! Just saw windproof and thought, 'they will do'. Re: British Army Molle Field Pack

I like the look of that, especially for the price! Don't suppose you saw if they did it in black, or is that wishful thinking?!

I'll be heading up to my local surplus store next week so will have a nosey!
