I think the original info had something else depending on battery type or something, I must have missed that bit out! :oops:

Yup or make a faraday cage, I think?! Hmmm so if I dig a hole big enough for the whole block of flats and shove it in... that will work!! :lol: :lol: :lol: Joking aside, this could be a serious issue, I read One Second After and it was a fabulous book... couldn't put it down!

EDIT: The book was called Flare... Not one second after. I get a bit mixed up with books!! Am going to read one second after when I've finished my current book. Sorry everyone!! :roll:

I think it could well be ... it was just last month that the news broke that the 2012 solar storm that missed us by a week was at least as strong as the Carrington Event :(
