Solar panel battery charger

Hi Folks has anyone got or no anything about the solar battery chargers for AA and AAA battery as i am thinking of getting one for myself
are they anygood what are they like ? how long it takes to charge and so on ??.

From what I have seen they aren't really that good unless you have a really big panel.

What size unit is it you are thinking about?

one of the small ones i think its around 6in by 3in or some thing like that only holds 2 x battery at a time .
its something you can pack in your bug out bag .

Have a look for any reviews, some of the small ones will charge 2 batteries in more like days rather than hours

hi, i have a silva solar 1 nice little unit works very well 2 or 4 aa batterys. i use sanyo eneloop batterys they hold there charge longer and have a higher terminal voltage than most batterys i have used. i have a small gerber recon 1aa cell torch it has a clear led lamp and red,green,blue, fillter 100 hours on 1 aa what a combo.
