LuminAID Portable Solar Light - £15.99

Post by Jimski »

Afternoon all,

Just another heads up on a nifty little bargain, the LuminAID Portable Solar Light, its small, compact, solar powered and can cope with 500 discharge/recharge cycles. £15.99 delivered, they do take a few days to come from MyMemory. I've used this company numerous times for USB sticks, memory cards and the like, never had any issues.

From the reviews i've seen, its slightly bigger than an iPhone when packed and you inflate it for a diffuser style effect.

Background to the product is that it was developed for aid/natural disaster situations off the back of Haiti. So sales also fund its ongoing production.

Just thought it was ideal for whatever bag or prep you have. Might save on a few batteries!

I like this although it doesn't put out that many lumens (I think it said 60, which would be about 4 tealights?). Had a search on Amazon and there are some similar interesting products.
