Just emptied the contents of what I suppose is my EDC and found these items

SAS survival guide
gorgeous pink tin from Avon containing:
water purification tablets
book of matches
safety pins
tealights
credit card multitool
mini multitool
Also have:
small tub of petroleum jelly
cotton wool balls in an old camera film tub
disposable gloves in a kinder surprise tub (you can tell ive got kids)
Anti-bacterial wipes/hand gel
FFP3 masks
small LED torch + spare batteries
first aid kit + inhaler
emergency blankets
ponchos
carabina type screwdriver set with torch
notebook and pen
pack away bag
small boxes of raisins
cereal bars
2 small bottles of water
travel toothbrush,paste + floss
poop bags ( i just seem to find them everywhere)
+ numerous girly items that im sure must be essential.

So I was in a outdoors shop of some description and found two for one sealable aluminum boxes so decided to updated my EDC, so I have something I can insert into any bag I take.

What's the measurements of the box Metatron?
It seems like a lot to fit in a small box but a good idea for it to be all together so you can easily change bags etc.

I dot have a EDC but after reading this post i think i need to make up one so will be getting myself a pouch and supplies to fit it into my small backpack I take when I am out and about

the reason i have never thought of a EDC is I am very rarely 10 min away from the house and if i am away from the house my car is always there

once I make up one I will post a list of whats in it need to get a new cam so i can take pics

Just a quick question, a fixed blade in an edc ?, or do you swap it out for a folder when you are in public areas ?

The box is 23cm by 15cm and 7 cm deep.

I have a few of those knifes as their full tang and high quality, you can't really go wrong for under £10. The tin is sealed with tape so you can not access anything fast. I'm not overly worried, the police have better things to do with their time then harasse a person that does not look like a criminal, has never been arrested, or even pulled over, pays all his tax's, has never been on benefits of any kind and contributes to society.

I have got to the point that I carry as little as possible. EDC Swiss Army Knife,Zippo lighter ,led torch(lenser) length of paracord and large hankie. Chuck on a water bottle(nowt fancy, a PET bottle will do).Good to go. I ain't Bear Grylls-thank God.
