La Nina is likely soon, and it is supposed to make early to mid winter colder, but it's not likely to be a lot. I'm looking at a temp anomaly chart for Dec-Feb average in La Nina years, and the anomaly is nothing for Scotland, and about -0.3° for southern England. Jet stream could be roughly over central England with high pressure north and low pressure south.

We could also get some Arctic air due to a weak polar vortex at some point like we did December 2022 when I was decorating the prep room. I remember that.
