Today I had a mini meltdown at the fact all my crops are rotting because of the rubbish weather; panicked some more that the house is still a work in progress and I'm not on track with my plans to improve storage and security before the winter; stressed myself out about the lack of corn in the US....

I then poured myself a small alcoholic beverage, calmed down and unwrapped my delivery of late planting seed potatoes to get popped in the greenhouse..... my progress may be small, but it's real... 8-)

In the morning I am fishing. The river. It has been in flood since the start of June. It is not perfect but I reckon Iwill catch. Afternoon I have a LOAD of firewood coming in. Cost is nil.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.

picked up some more air rifle pellets and darts (got a few thousand). Been checking out alternative bugout locations on the maps so have to start scouting them out.

Gulp ... coyotes... buying cotton gardening gloves at 2 sets for £1 doesn't really cut it after that
