Vitamin supplements

Post by Colin KC »

Does anyone routinely add vitamin supps to their prepping food supplies?

What ones are cheapest/best value & what's the shelf life?

hi, whilst theyre on offer, i get spare ones with the longest possible shelf life, then store them, and rotate with new when used.

goes in cycles really what i have... the omega oils with different combos in (stay flexible, energetic you etc) or simply fizzy ones (berroca et al).

if things started to get a bit more serious and i had to stockpile some - id look into a general A-Z, but im happy to use what i got for now.

This is something on my to-do list but it is a very good idea. You have to think that if a situation meant you did not have access to fresh food etc then it would be good to supplement your diet with some vitamins.

I think this is a very good idea. Something I must amend. Thankyou.

Tesco own brand fizzy multivits are horrible, I went back to buying Berrocca, but only bulk buying when on special offer

I have added some Lidl multivits with iron to my stash - they're around 75p for a 60 day supply.

Tescos occasionally have 2-4-1 offers on their own brand so £3-4 can stock you up on nearly a year's supply of multivit + iron tables. Worth strolling down that aisle when going for a shop.
