Well so far in my BOB I have

- 2 litres water
- water purification tabs
- Filtration straw
- solid fuel stove + hex tabs
- small pan + spork
- soap
- toothbrush + paste
- flannel
- lady products!
- 2 emergency blankets
- wind up torch
- led torch
- spare batteries
- basic first aid kit
- 2 cyalume sticks
- coffee + choc sachets
- tissue
- duct tape
- rope
- tarp
- cable ties
- lip balm
- fold up lightweight shovel
- 72hr rations
- storm matches
- 2 lighters
- small pkt fatwood
- pocket survival guide
- socks/pants/jumper

please feel free to let me know what im missing :D

Sleeping bag?
Pencil
Paper
Water-proof bags
folding cup
metal spoons (sporks are not brilliant)
nylon cord
sewing kit
first aid kit

sorry, sleeping bag is clipped under BOB lol, have put most of the items in watertight bags so can use them if needs be, rope is the nylon stuff(was easier to say rope) haha, also have mini fishing kit, have made a basic sewing kit up but is sat on the shelf at present! :oops: must admit a cup didnt cross my mind, is now on my to do list along with the metal cutlery. list does include first aid :)

A pocket sized mutitool and a small folding knife.
It may never happen. Best to be prepared just in case.

You have got me thinking, a large part of my BOB is taken up by a change of clothes , my thinking being that in the case of fire I wont have time to get dressed, just grab my BOB and out the window.

It would free up a lot of space if I ditched the clothes ??

separate bag of vacuum packed clothing that stays near BOB so can be launched out of window at same time? waterproof in bag and get more in...maybe / possibly :)
