Hello from Chester.

Post by The Conqueror »

Hi, I'm from Chester and I'm into bushcraft and survival and go on almost monthly camping/ survival training trips, but I'm new to the idea of prepping although a lot of my skills I suppose are essential in a peepers arsenal. I've watched a lot of program's on prepping and realised the yanks are nuts and for the most part we British are fairly sane when it comes to prepping which is what has brought me to this forum looking for good sane advice. I don't believe in prepping for one scenario which seems to be how the yanks work. I'm looking to gain info on long term food storage, growing my own food and also mass water purification and exchanging tips with like minded people . I won't be hoarding masses of food just enough for my family for a month or so as I believe in my area I would be a target which is where growing my own food comes into it. I believe having the skills to be able to make build and grow everything you would need is the best way to prep but I'm looking forward to hearing other people's ideas on prepping. :)
