@ Stasher. I chainsaw quite a bit and Rearfang is right, chainsaw trousers and protective kit is designed to jam and stall the chain, for example, my trousers are rated to stop a 20m/s chain. They offer no protection to a stabbing action, no more than thick clothes do.

My bad, It doesnt protect against 308 rifle,That was on another vest I was looking at not this one ...... it does stop .357/equivalent or lesser threat.

if you thinking of buying one always go one size up than you think you would be.

I'm 6'2" , 48" chest ..... I ended up with an XXL fits really good, if I had of gone for the XL there would be no way it would have fitted.
