Money, money money

Post by the7ps »

Has anyone prepped by keeping some cash in the house? I put £50 in my 'prep box' last week, just in case cash machines are down so wondered if anyone else did the same?

On the flip side, can anyone see a down side (apart from a pesky burglar  )

For a few years I've kept 50 quid in a ziplock bag in my BOB. You never know, it might come in handy.
Come to think of it, with inflation I might have to drop another tenner in there.

We use cash for most things apart from a couple of DDs. Buy everything cash - salesmen look a bit taken aback when you bring out a wodge of money

I too, deal in cash-although I find it more and more difficult to make purchases (large)as they find cash a nuisance. But cash is good to keep on hand as it is still (generally ) universally accepted.
