Got my first crossbow

Post by Magenta16v »

Well managed to get hold of a cobra 150lb crossbow with all the trimmings and extra arrows for £70 . Result.
4 months old. Guy got it from the states . Had $369 on the receipt .
His other half did not want it in the house so he just wanted it gone.

Can't believe how powerful it is.

Going to have a days play ( I know the laws ) before hiding it away

excellent , get yourself a good stock of bolts and broad heads before you hide it way . like fire arms store the bolts away from from the bow . :D

I was just going to get some arrows from ebay and some bow string for my slingshot creations. Sometimes I see broadheads on ebay :)

Well, Finally got the Crossbow together... Before I put the scoppe on I tried it out from about 25 meters ... put a thick bit of foam on my Shed and Dammm this thing is powerful .. it went through the shed. Its only a 150LB too.

I need to set up the scoope and try and work out where the red light goes

I have a Jaguar one, get a cocking rope , they're only around a tenner and halve the effort to cock them, better than a slipped disc ;) or a premature bowel movememnt :P
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.
