Hi all

Spent a bit of time perusing this forum and then decided to join and spent some more time having a look around and thought it high time that I said hello so here I am "HELLOOOOOOOO"<waves>

Prepping is something that I did without really realsiing that I did it, I dont prep in a way to have supplies but more in a way of having things to hand should they be needed, I spend the odd weekend away with work so I had things to hand that make what I do easier and being self sufficiant and prepared for food drink etc while away.

I started to watch the US program on Nat Geo about preppers and I think some of the things they prep for are a bit out there but not impossible it did get my thinking a little bit about what could happen and the different ways that things could pan out. Personally I think it would be more an economical break down or things getting to the point were people say enough is enough and a post I read recently here metioned something that put it into words just right, look at the recent riots if people will do that and it spread nationwide like that imagine what could happen when something big really happens.

Im looking forward to getting stuck in and I think I have a few skills and items to hand that will put me in a good starting posistion I just need to sit down and try and plan it all and move forward.

Oh forgot to mention im in the Merseyside / Cheshire area

Still reading lots and finding lots out

I have finally got around to adding a bookmark folder and trying to book mark all the useful stuff will get there in the end im sure.
