Wanting a good book
On the subject of bugging out or bugging in, does anyone have any recommendations on where is the best place to find such books on the UK market at a reasonable price?

Found a few on Amazon UK
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bugging-Out-Dav ... 838&sr=1-1
Page 27 reads well, as it is based in the UK, and I think he (the author) has some useful knowledge. It looks like a new addition judging by the date.

Doesn't look like it is UK based but could be a useful addition, but not sure it is going to be about what I can do in the UK.
Plenty of bug out bag building books, but once packed it isn't going to change that much and there is a huge section here on such bags. Time to do a bit of topic searching, any one got any quick links?

Well for a real book The SAS survival guide seems to be on most peoples lists, I got it a while back and have not got round to giving it a good read , but it seems very good on a quick flip thru

In the UK the SAS Survival handbook isn't really that good to be honest, it is a book written from the survival training of Special forces troops course.tanstaafl wrote:Well for a real book The SAS survival guide seems to be on most peoples lists, I got it a while back and have not got round to giving it a good read , but it seems very good on a quick flip thru
But that is probably the older version I have, is the newer one for the UK only or does it still cover desert survival and such like?
Re: Wanting a good book
The SAS ultimate survival guide collins gem is pocket size and a great buy for around £5ish on Amazon used books I believe around £7 or £8ish new.

I also found this little peach which is fun to read and has plenty of good tips for a range of scenarios from the sensible to crazy but still worth a nose I think.

This one is probably my personal favourite..
