Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 13
Bit of a prepping fail myself yesterday ... I carried on with a trip to London to see a friend living on the opposite side, London is the only place we can currently reasonably meet. It was horrible :( hot and so, so noisy. I visit London regularly, museums and all that, mostly using Victoria, which...

Not quite a prep but I have a job interview in an hour for a ‘diagonal’ promotion. It’s a senior position but for a different team, more responsibilities and a wee bit more money… Wish me luck! Good luck! ‘Meh’ at best. I’ve had a ringing in my ears all day, I never get this and it totally distract...

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 13
Years ago I was really into herbal medicine. I grew a lot of herbs and made tinctures and infusions etc etc but I have to say that very few of them worked well. Thyme for cough mix is fabulous. Honey for wounds likewise. But most of the traditional old cures were a disappointment. Of ordinary comme...

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 13
This sounds terrible for everyone :( I didn't realise quite how lucky I am that I don't take anything regularly :( if I'm out all day, I take a just-in-case loperamide  and that's it. Still haven't started that CBD for arthritis, though I may need to soon, I'm only getting a max of 5 hours a ni...

Well, had plenty of plans.. Then my old acquaintance Mr Arthritis McFlare decided to drop in overnight. Probably decided to drop in having not been invited to all the gardening and walking i've been doing recently. Am hoping that following a hearty breakfast of Ibuprofen and Steroids he'll bugger o...

My own preps: managed to get some seeds planted last week, and the courgettes sprang up almost right away  the kale has followed, and even a little basil spriglet has showed its head. I'd love lots of basil plants. Got a delivery coming today from B&Q - compost, a stopcock key (the valve in...
