Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 12

Enjoy the peace and quiet, GeeGee. :) It sounds lovely! Amazon delivery day here today. Mostly preppy stuff … More duck tape (is it ever possible to have too much?) Assorted cable ties (watched a video that said get more cable ties as you might need to tie someone up in an emergency- not quite sure...

Re: Cannabis for pain relief

Thanks GillyBee, that's the kind of thing I was looking for. Sorry to hear that after all of that, your contact wasn't able to get a prescription.

Re: Cannabis for pain relief

I'd be really interested to see any more detailed reports of what hoops had to be jumped through to get it prescribed.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 12

You may be able to keep white rot under control by using a bit of clever trickery as part of your normal crop rotation. Arzosah - the grass is always greener … your location sounds great to me - I bet you get some beautiful summers down there - and only a hop across the channel for olives and red wine too! We do get amazing weather - we're very sheltered from the stuff that comes in from the west and the north, you ...

Both locations sound wonderful - though I know how troublesome wind is for plants (grew up a mile from the Irish Sea, up a 300' hill). I live near the Channel, there are the South Downs and a few wild commons here and there, but its basically lots of towns all joined up with one another.

I’ve never grown garlic - is it easy to grow? Supposedly :? I think that's true as long as the soil is well-drained. ...
