Re: New member, just saying howdy

Sounds like you're starting to get really well set up - have you practised gutting the birds etc? I've seen it once in real life, and seen it a lot more than that on Masterchef etc  harder than it seems, I think. Loving the sound of your van!

Re: New Member, where to go for information as a newbie?

Welcome to the forum, Ben, I'm glad you've reached out and joined. I'm just seconding GillyBee's advice - food, water, utilities. The forum is divided into sections, and there's a lot in each. Re: Hello...

Hello SNJ, welcome to the forum. You've started the prepping in exactly the right place, with food that will keep for a while, and water. Lots of info here on all aspects, so all I can say is "go for it" :)

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 11

Re - Christmas cards / postage I have seen lots of Christmas cards on sale recently as well, and at prices normally only seen in the January clear out sales. Talking to volunteers in charity shops, they have all mentioned massive decline on sales of Christmas cards, and income from them in the last...

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 11

Prepping for me (just realised I should update myself!) clearing bits of the house so the plumbers can come in tomorrow - hot water tank, boiler, under the sink. House is stuffed full, so that's not good  Driving still going well-ish, but not often enough. And I tried to strike out from my to...

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 11

Been a while since I posted... Just found out recently going to be made redundant, with leave still to take and Christmas only a few more days work this year. Already been applying for jobs. Am currently focusing on planning on what to do with redundancy, and 'spare' time, so far have got -update f...
