I bought a solar charger for my kindle and phone, it has a torch on one side and solar panel on the other, very impressed so far. Its sitting on my window sill and had a full charge after a few hours. Also bought a small battery bank for the car/ handbag which is about the size of a small torch.

Thats a great idea, i'll do the same if you don't mind. It would be really interesting to have a better idea of what we buy, and whether its truly because i don't have something in the garden or because i just fancy something different.

Spent the day decanting hedgerow wine from stored demijohns, we now have 24 bottles stored for an alcohol emergency ,
and delighted to say they taste great (had to check for quality control).

I ordered a dehydrator today and have sorted out lots of jars I had stored.
Also moved winter sleeping bags etc from the garage to the loft.
