Thanks all for the advice i was thinking of repacking it into single pack portions & thinking they might keep like that for 3-5 years.
but it looks like this would not work.
back to the drawing board.

hello all.

Hi to everyone just a quick post to introduce myself i am new to prepping, but i do have some shooting/hunting skills with an air rifle i also like to wild camp & practice a little bushcraft when i can.
i also dabble with electronics when time permits.

freeze dried food

hi all this is my first post so be gentle!
I have seen some cheap mountain house freeze dried cans on e-bay these are a bit large 8 to 9 meals in one tin could i open them & repack them into smaller vacuum pack portions & would this affect the shelf life.
hope someone can help.
