About twenty years ago myself and several other people were unable to return to our homes due to flooding around the area. My home was ok but I couldn’t get to it. Slightly mouldy bread has been used as a wound pack for thousands of years because of the penicillium mod that grows on it. I’d use it in a post SHTF but any mould that isn’t grey/green, utterly do not use. Far better to use standard first aid stuff, become trained in herbal medicine. Ointments/balm...

My daughter had a tooth pooled and developed dry socket. Won’t forget that in a hurry. Thank goodness it’s healed up now. Great inspiration guys! I’ve failed miserably in the past making wine but I do manage a decent ginger beer. Really must dig out my demijohns and other gear and have a go.
