Ordered stuff to bolt fire escape ladder to wall Rawlplug R KER 2 part epoxy that uses normal sealant gun 12 mm drill bit 12 mm hole cleaning brush 10 mm x 130 steel threaded studs I got the brush off ebay and the rest from tradefixdirect I can use the anchor plates that came with the ladder. Got my escape ladder. Looks ok. Had a rethink on the bolts, as they could crack the brick. Chances are the 150 year old mortar's soft, plus they'd be near the rebate ie edge.
