Re: Weekend Prepping Shop
I went into my local Army Surplus shop last Friday for the first time in over a year (I shop online) and was horrified at the prices on show for basic items such as wind up torches, multitools, folding shovels etc. I appreciate that these places have to charge a premium to cover overheads, the trade...

Re: New to this, and need reference material
You're right, anything can happen and the knowledge is worth having but as the go-to response for a new prepper its almost laughable to suggest they need this. Specific to this question, colack asked for material related to prepping, sure the SAS book will come in useful to most of us at some point ...

Re: Blacking out the windows when dark
In a true SHTF situation, there will be home invasions and empty properties will go first, I might even consider having a look around empty houses myself, first thibg you would look for would be activity during the day and then light at night. Last thing before going in and help yourself would be ju...

Re: Stash Bag
About an hours walk from where I am now, so no not all that far. If it was an expensive exercise I might not have done it but for £15 per site I have a solid (waterproof and bug proof) container and 3 days supply of food and water, it's not worth checking on. I should though, as well as bury more in...
