At the end of the day, a portable power station is just a convenience, hence their high prices.
They are nothing more than Lithium Batteries and inverter with a couple of outlets.
The challenge is to keep them or have some form of charging them.

The plastic components of the Berkey is the weakspot with them. If you have the choice, go with the metal spigot, didn't know they actually made them. Had mine for around 8 or so years and so long as you treat it with care, the plastic parts will be ok. Overtightening of the screws WILL cross thread...

No. But I would definately recomend these....
Dying probably involves 3 or so washes with the actual dye, I didn't actually get a pair of these as their sizes are not available to me.

Ive been doing morse for over 30 years... was properly trained too.. I maxed out at 22 wpm and ive seen guys take at 45 wpm.... Sorry for the late reply, but yeah, as stated..... the hight the gen the better, but boy oh boy they go up in price drastically... Depends on what your intended use is going to be..... If most Generation 1's will do the task of general security and inquisitiveness quite well... going up the ranks......
