Re: Khukris for Bushcraft

What's the purpose of the notch at the handle? I see it on quite a lot of different styles of khukri so it must be for something :)

Re: Hi All

Hello!! Welcome back!

I've been doing a bit of digging with regards to this Ebola lark as well. I rekon moving to Barbados for a couple years would stand you a good chance of avoiding it. :)

And if you ever do decide to rid yourself of this troublesome burden ;) pm me what your thinking, as I was looking on a generic online auction site at something similar last week. It's just never worth the risk.

I seriously thinking of selling mine, I don't need it and its a shame not using a tool like that.
Besides, I'm more of a axe & small knife person

Re: picking the knife for me

Hey cheif. You seem pretty keen on the fixed blades. Have you considered spending that coin on a more versatile tool, like a leatherman or Victorinox?
When you say around camp and in the b.o.b if it's just for light duty work a good quality Swedish Mora would serve you well :)

Re: do you include neighbors?

Thanks Vespa, made for a good read. But I agree, I'm thinking of sending something like this out now, but it would need a bit of editing so it would be received by my locals more readily.

Can you think of any other negatives for not sending it out? In case I'm being hasty :)
