Something to add to the EDC, I never leave home without a pair of Sony earbuds (£9), if I find myself stranded waiting for the bus a little music helps drown out the chavs..!

That's just a general recommendation, although I have been told personally by my GP to drink 2 litres on a normal day, and to step it up to 3 if I'm out running or whatever.
Most days I probably drink around 1.5/2 litres...

Does anyone know off the top of their heads a basic figure in litres per adult per month, including cleaning water..? It's between 4.5 and 6 litres a day depending on climate and conditions (like pregnancy etc) which is then split between drinking and hygiene. That gives between 135 and 180 litres ...
