I like the crossbow pistols. Small, compact for one handed fire and for use in tight areas. Anyone with a bit of muscle can load and fire. Extremely cheap. Pistol £20. 12 bolts £2.50. New strings £1.75. String wax £1. Once sited I find it fairly accurate, can easily hit compost bag (upright) at 50ft...

Poundland and tescos this week

I was in poundland today and they have foldable 10ltr water storage with tap, obviously a pound each. Argos have something similar, no doubt better quality but £9.99! Tescos have 100 tea lights for £3. 3p per tea light! Not sure if there is a thread for deals (I did look), if not I think it would be...

Hi, I'm not new to the idea of prepping (mainly food and water prepping), but want to up my diversity a little more. Before I was mainly prepping for extreme weather, now I'm thinking more long term; food shortages, economic breakdown, civil unrest, fuel shortages....

I'm from Hertfordshire.
