I'm just old enough to remember the power cuts in the 70's :shock: and will always remember neighbours coming in to cook on our gas stove because they only had electric and eating our meals around an oil lamp. So short term my preps are always having more than 1 way of heating a meal ( and ourselves...

OH and I went camping this week for the first time in years. :oops:

Just confirmed to myself that bugging in would be our preference lol

Got some winter veg seeds and topped up my supplies of cold and flu and painkiller tablets.
Not much but budget is tight this month.

Decaff tins of tomatoes are 4 for £1 in home bargains and 25p each in poundstretcher. :D

This week we've started putting money aside for Christmas.

Just bought seeds for winter veg.
