Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 12
Ah no staying put isn't a viable option, although where we are now was fine when we bought it more than 20 years ago but as the years roll by niether health nor lifestyle is what it was. The gardens too small to allow a decent size extension, then add into that that we absoluely hate it where we are...

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 12
Are you sure a bungalow is the way forward? I've seen a lot recently about lifts in a domestic setting - I suppose without the national grid, or a massive supply of electricity from a petrol generator, a lift is irrelevant to a prepper  but they look so much more secure than the stairlifts my...

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 12
Just as a bit of background as to how we got here four years ago we had a car accident that has left my wife with multiple health problems, not long after I had to leave work from ill health. We coped for a while when then wife also had to stop working she had taken a job at vastly reduced rates of...

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 12
Well after two years scrimping and scraping all our preps are at minimum levels. We still have loss of power, gas etc supplies but food and money are at negligible levels although we still have enough pasta to last a good thirty odd years (must remember the store what you eat mantra when things beco...

And somebody will still open their door onto it in the asda car park"Among the more unique aspects are wing mirrors that can shoot pepper spray. Owners will be able to purchase bulletproof vests, helmets and gas masks along with the car."

Re: New covid strain in uk...
I found this site, obviously it's under government control so the figures are totally correct and have not been fiddled with, ( The wife used to work in conjunction with the ONS covid study supplying the figures for Boris and co's updates.) but it is still a guide for local areas. https://coronaviru...

Re: Those shielding until a vaccine is found
Come on Cornerstone, get real. We all know that as soon as shielding stops all the extremely vulnerable people will be fine to do everything that everyone else is doing, It goes on the date, not the fact that average figures in towns and cities for newly recorded infections has roughly doubled since...

Re: How many times can you use a disposable FFP3 mask?
I usually usually wear mine for 3 3hour shifts. Then get rid, saying that my shifts are down to 2 a week now since one client died from it.
