Solar charger for batteries?

Hi all. Would anyone have a recommendation for a solar charger of rechargeable AA batteries. Found a couple but not many reviews. There is a Goal zero one but it's alot of money, so for the time being I have stocked up on cheap and pricey batteries with a long shelf life. Batteries would be used for...

Re: Walls and ventilation (few questions)

It also depends if you are building it as a fallout out shelter only or for blast protection too, and that decision would depend on location. I would say option 2 makes it significantly more difficult. The book mentioned above (nwss) is the best one I have read by a mile.

Re: Loft space as food storage

Thanks all, a resounding no then. Preps are over supporting walls as I was concerned about the weight but I will drop the food and turf out the water to make room in the outhouse. If anyone goes in there they'll think I've gone nuts......wall to wall tins and plastic buckets. No room under the bed, ...

Re: Nuclear War The Facts On Our Survival: Peter Goodwin

Nuclear war survival skills by c.h.kearny is another very good and detailed book on the subject. Not seen a cheap version. Think e-book is around 8 quid and more for paperback. Having said that if your interested in the subject I highly recommend it.

Re: What preps are you doing this week? Part 3.

Add another 200ltr to my water storage.
Buy some more batteries with 10year life span
And ponder where I can store another 3 months worth of food - not sure I want to start digging the back garden up yet but having said that it could be a very secure and well hidden.

Buried preps anyone?

New member - Sheffield

Hi all. Relatively new to this having spent 4 months prepping for my family. Reason for joining a forum is to get advice and see how many preppers there are in my neck of the woods. I prep for a few reasons fear of financial collapse or worse and also less long term problems. Prepping seems a lonely...
