Re: HEADTORCH 1000 LUMEN - ADVICE PLEASE
OLight H2R Nova, defo your best bet. I bought one of them a while back, and haven't looked back. I know you are not interested in the turbo mode, but the H2R nova has 3 normal modes, which provide enough light for the majority of situations. I actually use it for hunting rats, along with another tor...

Have you a link to the eBay listing? Wouldn't mind getting one myself at that price.

Re: Water collection / containers
I was thinking about getting a water butt and installing it on the drain pipe from my garage and house, then using the water in the garden over the summer. The amount it rains here **raining as I type", I can't see water supply being an issue in the near future, but goodness knows what the long...

Re: Solar Chargers
Anker have a good 21w solar charger, though I am not sure if it could charge a laptop.
Re: EDC knife
I picked up a Mora Outdoor companion 860 knife a while ago, its not something I'd walk around with in my pocket especially in urban Scotland (it would get me 10 years) but I've found it great up the mountains. 4.1" stainless steel blade that's razor sharp out of the box, pretty durable hard pl...

R50 Pro Seeker Review
I got my OLight R50 Pro Seeker about a month ago, and have been using it since then. I have to say, I really love this torch. When I was looking for what torch to buy, I wanted something between a flood light, and a thrower. I found the R50 Pro Seeker, and it seemed like it was pretty much bang in t...

Re: What i am prepping for and why.
Staying at home would be safer in my opinion. Unless you house is at immediate threat of danger that is. Why leave the place you know well to rough it in the woods?

Thats looks sweet Simon, I would love to do something like that. I thought about it a few years back, but never did anything since then with the idea.

New guy, old prepper
From Northern Ireland, I have been prepping for around 5 years now, it started out for me, with an interest in tactical gear, then I dived deeper into it and realised I was a prepper lol. I have always been ready for any situation, I carry extra food in my house, have an emergency fund, and would co...
