Re: Straw Poll. How much food do you have in reserve? How well do you stock rotate?
Re. Hunting with dogs- sadly hare coursing is a bit of an issue around here and the guys that do it are pretty scary, not to be confronted, it's just a 999 call to the police. Does give a bit of a sobering insight into what the world might be like when the supermarkets are empty.......

Re: Straw Poll. How much food do you have in reserve? How well do you stock rotate?

Re: Straw Poll. How much food do you have in reserve? How well do you stock rotate?
Grenfell's astute observation apart, we have enough for a well fed family of five for a month. Combination of dried goods & tinned meat. We don't tend to rotate stock as such, more a case of if we get snowed in we eat spam wrapped in bacon & fried AKA "apocalypse heart disease" the...

Excellent, thank you, yes I'll think I'll do something similar to yours, maybe try and get the filter in line.
Thanks again for the inspiration.

Whoa! Just been onto the camelback website, eye-watering price. I'll assemble one myself but excellent idea, thanks for posting and so obvious now it's been pointed out.

Re: Car Preps
Oh, and of course always carry jump leads so you can sponge a jump start off random strangers in car parks.
Re: Car Preps
Probably not a helpful suggestion but if you can park it indoors that'll help massively.
