I only have an automatic licence. I was being fleeced by my driving instructor. I had a test date booked and he said 'ooh I think you'll need at least 15 more lessons' I went out and booked three lessons on an automatic and passed my test first time. I had the vague intention of taking the full test...

Many houses in our road had small transparent stickers placed on the front doors today advertising locksmiths. I've decided to try and lose a bit of weight before the return of lurgy season in the autumn. It sounds as if just being overweight, let alone diabetic or prediabetic, is a risk factor. If nothing else it will ease the strain on my joints and make it easier to keep fit. That's the plan, anyway. You ...
