Re: Thoughts please
How much time do you spend apart? If you are joined at the hip then a shared tent makes sense. If you spend a lot of time apart (work etc) then it may lead to one of you being short of shelter if you are split up.
Would one tent and one tarp make more sense?

The cling-on eyelets are also great for tarps. Was put onto them by an expedition leader.

I wish!. I am in a London maisonette with a small garden. The tenancy bans keeping poultry and with the fox population averaging 1 per garden I would need to turn the whole garden into a cage to protect rabbits. We have found pet remains on the lawn before now thanks to the foxes. I do grow & pr...

Re: Powdered egg ?
I think you would have to go to a preparedness store and pay acccordingly to get that shelf life. I got mine from Amazon and egg white came from one of the bodybuilder suppliers. I cant see the brand I bought on there today (we no longer use it due to intolerances) but if buying today I would look f...

Hi and Welcome! Have a good look around the site. The basics tend to me the same to start for everyone. What would you need for you & yours to cope for 3 days without shops, electricity, gas, water? Do you have enough funds for family emergencies? Once you have that sorted, you can move onto the...

And after that huge post last night I have just found this website which covers everything in detail. I am now off to download the contents to local storage.
