Re: Geiger Counters - Recommendations

Re: PMs General Thread

Seriously thinking of getting a bit more silver. Read an interesting article a while back by a US prepper. Basic argument was that if the unit value of bullion gets too high then it loses utility - it can only be for investment. But to cash in, you can only exchange it for fiat currency, or look to ...

Stumbled across some good video content on Youtube. Thought it might be worth sharing - can't see any reference to it here.

Giving the Ecoflow and assorted "packs" a discharge / recharge cycle. Nice and sunny at the moment so can recharge off of solar.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 12

I'm due to retire in a couple of years ( if things work out). As such, can't put it off any longer - have started on The Plan.. What i need to do on the run up to retirement and, more importantly, what the hell I'm going to do with myself once I do retire. Have a reasonable idea on the run up to ret...

Re: New and hoping I'm doing this right

That's an interesting distinction. Have had a few conversations in the past about urban vs metropolitan prepping. Would be interested in your research.

Re: Dummies Guide To Solar

You can also go up in stages. I always had a lot of rechargeable (AA, AAA, C) batteries ( and Black Friday is always a good time to stock up). My first solar project was a small (30W) panel, a cheap charge controller and a car battery. Also got a 12V to cigar lighter/ USB panel. The solar could char...
