Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 12

I'm due to retire in a couple of years ( if things work out). As such, can't put it off any longer - have started on The Plan.. Re: Dummies Guide To Solar

You can also go up in stages. I always had a lot of rechargeable (AA, AAA, C) batteries ( and Black Friday is always a good time to stock up). My first solar project was a small (30W) panel, a cheap charge controller and a car battery. Also got a 12V to cigar lighter/ USB panel. The solar could char...

Re: Krank/batteries DAB/FM radio

I've had a couple of these crank style devices. They have all been rubbish.
Better off getting yourself a decent power bank like a Bluette, Anker or EcoFlow, keep that charged, and charge other things off of that.

Found out the unpleasant way this morning that my wax cotton jacket needs reproofing. Guess I know what preps I'm doing this weekend...

At a pinch we could go 3+ months based on reserves.
What we don't have, and I need to fix, is drinkable fluids reserves.

Re: Cash Storage Options

On the general subject of safes, anyone got any experience / recommendations? There are several on Amazon, but I have my doubts about cheap electronic safes that are probably Chinese imports. As someone whose hobby is lock picking (purely for entertainment, honestly) I know how easy it is for some o...
