Yes a Karcher and a dehumidifier are good.

New snow fall west midlands started 7:30 pm, interesting drive home :shock: .

Won’t be going far tomorrow but will make sure grip mats are in the car.

Don’t forget the humble OXO cube in you BOB, I always carried a flask with hot oxo when hill walking in extreme winter weather. A prepper should never be in a zero calorie scenario, in a BOB at least 3 days food preferably which can been eaten without cooking, then emergency stuff like kendall mint ...

I've got a couple of home - made twig stoves, plus a Kelly Kettle. They are efficient but use a lot of twigs. Bear in mind that the smell of cooking and burning wood carries, and you may not want to alert others that you're cooking. A camping gas stove with plenty of cylinders is an option. We too ...

AAA batteries ?, where do they disappear too ?.

We don’t use many but if we need 4 we can only find 3, if we need 3 we can only find 2,
yet we buy them 2 dozen at a time. I think we should buy 100 :lol:

If gold is now approximately 2 1/2 times 2016 price a pound is now worth 40p.

The Gold price remains fairly static it’s fiat currency that falls due to inflation.

Our 240w solar will be enough for the AA/AAA rechargeables and USB devices (lights, radios etc) but not much more :( .
