Regarding maps and compasses, I'm amazed that Ed Stafford says he doesn't use them in his shows ! I can understand if it's a clear sunny day allowing him to see landmarks from miles away and also gauge direction from the sun's position, but what I can't understand is how he can tell direction in poo...

My IHD lives next to my bed... My Smartmeter's IHD (In -Home Display) sits on a box in my kitchen, I live on the third floor so I can simply glance at it instead of having to traipse downstairs to check the reading on the bigger meter in the lobby..:) Below- here's a pic of my IHD- https://i.ibb.co...

There was a brief power outage in my neighbourhood last year (unknown cause) and when it was restored I found my old pay-as-you-go electricity key meter wasn't working any more, so I got onto my supplier EON and they said they'd have to replace it with a Smartmeter.
