Re: Cheese for long shelf life stores?

Stevemre1989 on youtube has eaten cheese from MRE's from 20 odd years ago and it was fine. He's an animal though, he's eaten ration packs from the 1900's. Very informative if you like that kinda thing.

Now let's get this out onto a tray, nice!

Re: Cheese for long shelf life stores?

I’ve had some cheese in wax for about four years. Opened one not long ago and it was perfectly fine. As long as the wax is fairly thick and airtight it’ll be fine for a long old while.

Re: Water storage

I stock a variety of water, I like the handiness of 500ml bottles. The ones from Costco used to be ideal with the screw cap. But they changed that awhile ago. They’re a different shape, made from thinner material and don’t stack as well. So, who in your opinion, sells the best 500ml water bottles? M...

Re: The Home Medicine Cabinet.

Can anyone suggest suitable storage boxes with adjustable dividers in, preferably ones that stack would be a huge bonus.

Re: Keeping your preps stocked due to cost of living

Found some noodles that I like so bulk bought. Ten in a box and ten boxes purchased. That’ll do.

Re: Discount Dragon

I’ve bought a fair amount of stuff from them before. They’ve changed the name in the last year or so, they used to be called Yankee Bundles, presumably because they sold a lot of the Yankee candle products. It’s food and drink (and other items) that are either very short dated or past their best bef...

Re: Keeping your preps stocked due to cost of living

Unless you’ve been told by a dietitian/medical professional, taking multivitamins is just making expensive piss. I don't disagree that multivits are poor value in normal times, but as a prepper, I see good value in having some set aside for a future eventuality where quality food might not be readi...
