camping ?

hey guys i am going to be meeting my fellow area 9ers end of march for a get together/camping trip what would be the equipment i need for camping ?

It depends how you want to do it

If you are practising for an evacuation then take the stuff you normally have prepared, which I guess might be things like a light weight tent or maybe a bivi, basic cooking equipment and food that is more to the ration end of the scale.

But, you may prefer not to test your Preps out this way. In which case you want more comfort and luxury

Joking asside a small entrenching shovel can be very handy to dig a moat round your pitch if your on the bottom of a slight gradient to divert water from running through your tent/ basha... Seems the done thing on the continent but dont think the big caravan and camping clubs would like the idea of digging up the manicured grass
