hello from hampshire

Post by jenny10322 »

i've been stalking the forum and posts for a little while now and
thought i should really introduce myself

i'm jenny, hi!

mainly preparing for blackouts, floods, loss of utilities, riots etc
our flat is all electric so food, warmth and staying alive are my main priorities
but i'm hoping to be prepared for most situations

i have to say i've enjoyed reading some of the debates and topics on here, i feel quite
at home, it's nice to come across people with the same mind set, no one outside of our
household knows anything so it helps to have a place to get information and read discussions
on scenarios and things that most would think are a little :tinfoil (i love that smiley!)

as much as i envy all your vegetable gardens and log burning stoves it's lovely to learn
new things and i've made quite a dent in needed supplies so far, although my partner and
bank account aren't quite so happy, i feel i'm making progress and picking up new skills and
ideas at the same time, i doubt aliens will attack or zombies will roam the streets any time soon
but it's best to be prepared if they do, i don't plan to bug out either but i like having the
knowledge and equipment just in case, i feel better knowing i have something in place

i'll stop rambling now, i look forward to getting to know a few of you
would be lovely to meet a few locals in the future for cake and a good debate too

:D

Hi Jenny,
Welcome to the forum.

Those sound like sensible reasons to be prepping - glad you've been able to learn from the forum.

Get stuck in and ask any questions. Someone will point you in the right direction.

Hello and welcome to the Forum.:)
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.
