Hello from Herts

Post by kizzie »

Hi I do a bit of prepping. Nothing major as I only live in a small bungalow. But have a nice size garden to grow food. I dehydrate and can some veg and fruit.
I am looking to buy a pressure canner so I can take advantage of my garden and of marked down items in the market.
I have a shed that I will be putting shelving from top to bottom for storing my home canned/bottled goods

I cannot really take advantage of shop tin food, as I eat grain and sugar free and most tins have one of the other in.

I found your site from searching about canning in the UK and a discussion from here came up.
I belong to a few prep groups on facebook but wanted to find a UK one, as prep in the USA is on so much of a bigger scale there everyone seems to have HUGE storage, land, hunting guns etc.

So anyway Here I am.

That's good to hear. I'm in the north almost on the Beds border.
