Live in the Midlands with my husband and 2 young children and, have recently realised I need to take the whole prepping thing more seriously with the whole Ebola situation.
My husband has been into bushcraft and interested in survival techniques and prepping for several years and would mention things like 'peak oil' from time to time, which would just worry me and make me stick my head in the sand if I'm completely honest!
The possibility that we could face a situation in the near future where we may not be able to leave the house (be that due to illness, bad weather or whatever) has made me take more notice of the tinned foods, medicine, candles etc that hubby has been gradually building up a stock of and made me want to learn more and try to be more prepared and hopefully one step ahead.
So, hoping to learn and share with likeminded people, particularly with regards to preparing for a potential lockdown situation with young children.
Bye for now
