I'm newbie fresh here but not so new to prepping.
Lived in many places due to work, so picked up various survival skills here and there.
Originally from Belfast but don't hold that against me. Now living in the North West.
Hopefully here to learn more, prep better and meet a few like minded people.
Always welcome to say hello and always good for some banter.
Steve
Hello out there!
Re: Hello out there!
Hi there Steve, welcome to the forum. Sounds like you already prep. What do you prep for? For me it's loss of income, power cuts etc (the usual ) The focus being on increased self reliance

Re: Hello out there!
Hey Stasher,
Thanks for the welcome.
For me its pretty much the same. What happens if the grid goes down? Self reliance, self sustainability etc. Trying to cover an area of everything really which I know is next to impossible lol
Focusing on sourcing equipment at the minute, comms, filtration, sustainable power and the like.
I'm sure in the days to come I'll add more to the forum but for now I'm happy to read what you fine people have to advise on.

Re: Hello out there!
There is stacks of info on here, I usually have a notepad next to me to jot down stuff I want to investigate more, or items I want to look out for. People are great at sharing on the forum - presumably because noone looks at us sideways when discussing 'prepping'

Hello out there!
I find it hard to keep track of stuff I want to investigate further; you're not on your own! I'll second the comment on fellow forum users - a cracking amount of knowledge stored in the collective mind - thanks allStasher wrote:There is stacks of info on here, I usually have a notepad next to me to jot down stuff I want to investigate more, or items I want to look out for.
