hey everybody greetings from corby northants

Post by Prepper-uk »

hello everyone i been prepping for at least 4-5 years and this all thing happened after i got snowed in at work, unable to come home for over 20 hours without food, phone charger and warm clothes.
this situation worked as a lesson for me and the following 2 years i decided to prep for winter time just by having an extra warm jacket and 24h food in my car, but since last year i decided to take prepping on a different level and i mean now i carry a 72h get home bag in my car every day instead of covering just the winter months,in my backpack i have covered the 5 main topics of a prepper which are shelter, water, fire, first aid, food, and at home i have a small cabinet with a month's worth of canned food including army mre's.
with a 2 bed house there are no much space availeable so this will do for now... hey better than not having anything right...

i'm starting a small project which is a portable solar panel power generator with a 12v battery, any sugestions or ideas would be great because i know nothing about this but still want to build one and take with me on a camping trip.

looking for other prepper to change ideas, camping trips etc etc.
thanks everyone and be safe.

Hello PrepperUK, welcome to the forum :) storage is so often a problem, isn't it - dried food is smaller than wet, of course, but you need water as well. I find its important to make use of every nook and cranny and still have the place look "normal" ...
