Omigod ... that is so gorgeous. Modern construction, and a lovely quality roof. All that land!

I looked it up and you can even get ADSL Broadband!!!!!, admittedly at about 1MB due to range. But how awesome is that, looking out over the loch with a nice log fire going, dog snoring and farting front of the fire while I am doing work remotely as a telecommuter with the broadband, endless space for food growing, your own Forrest and timber, your own deer herd and two lochs with all the hunting rights. When I think of what 250K buys in my neck of the woods let alone down south bonkers prices, all this prepping aside, it make me wonder why I am not living somewhere like that, close enough to drive into city for night out / hotel or even taxi at a push.
Wouldnt have to worry about the dog it could run around where ever it wanted and it is already fenced in.
Hmm.... if only...

Hate to be boring, but you'd need to be able to attend to it full time,or pay someone else to do so....
Its beautiful though if you were to be in a position to be able to take it on!

Looks stunning - I agree with the post above - painful as it is, it won't look after itself.
We bought 13 acres last January... it hadn't been looked after since it stopped being potato fields. We have lost about an acre to beambles and gorse. Give it naother couple of years and there wouldn't have been much left... and it carries on growing. It's a never ending battle.
Ho hum - I put a hedge trimmer attachment to the tractor on the priorities list a few weeks back...

You want some nice tasty pigs to sort out the brambles just chuck their food in the area you want them to clear, they make great undergrowth clearers.adrian007 wrote:Looks stunning - I agree with the post above - painful as it is, it won't look after itself.

I would recommend Goats, the will eat just about anything and can give you Milk, Butter and Cheese.

Actually went to look at it, 3 times! Tried to make an offer but the banks won't give bridging loans any more and there wasn't enough time to get our land on the market and agree a deal, only way they would give a loan. In scotland you can't make an offer unless you have the funds to back it as offers are binding.
Now in a state of total depression as it's now sold and places like this don't come up. First i've seen this good for years in an area i'd want.
