Hello

Post by 10hpmclaren »

Hi
Just a quick hello and a few lines about me.
Well im an engineer (old school hands on) working on steam engines, mostly road steam.
I have started to think its time to look at what happens if it all goes tits up and how I can protect my family.
I shoot English longbow up to 120lb draw weight, and over the years most forms of firearm.

Any way hello.

All the best Kevin

Hi Kevin and welcome to the forum.

By the sound of it you have a lot of specialist knowledge which will be very useful if ever things go completely t**s up.
I do hope you'll be willing to share some of your expertise with the rest of us in due course.

Regards, Panther

In my lifetime I have seen peoples ability to deal with problems almost vanish. No matter what it is that happens no one accepts thier responsability to look after themselfs. People assume that the government will solve all the problems that arise and keep them safe.
As a result of this very few people have the common sense that our parents had or for that matter we have. I watched a young man decend into almost blind pannic because a pedestrian crossing had stopped working. That to me is tipical of the way society is going.
If as I fear we lose our supply of natural gas due to it being cut off by the suppliers or by act of terrorism I am 99% sure this country will decend into chaos. I doubt it would take the government much prompting to declare martial law and once that happens we are F**ked. Nothing will ever be the same again if this happens.

Thats my fear, and view of the future.
