Yes,I think its one of my priorities.

Weight Training for the last 20 years (and Sporadically for 15 years before that) , I used to be completely mad about it , 4/5 times a week , but over the years with family, work and the aches and pains as I have got older (and being diagnosed as diabetic a few years back), only 2/3 times a week now...............
Not a big fan of cardio work , but try to walk a few miles several times a week as part of my Diabetic control...................
Re: I see a lot of prepping but ....
This is an area that has been a problem for me recently. I suffered a series of chest infections and pluerisy which has affected both my fitness and my lung capacity.
I use a treadmill regularly, I used to run (up to 10km) but can only fast walk now.
My OH does Krav Maga x2 weekly, which incorporates a huge amount of fitness, as well as chopping and hauling logs, green working on a pole lathe. So he's very fit.
He has devised a workout program for me to increase my cardio and focus more on core strength as well.
So I know I can improve to be as fit as I was 2 years ago but it's going to take time.

I am pretty much in the same position as Su in respect of illness. I was working out at least 3/4 x weekly; lots of cardio, as well as body pump classes to increase my core strength. Then I got a chest infection which has been hanging around for about two months now. I am feeling almost back up to full fettle again, but I still have pain in my ribs, around the area where I cracked a rib 3 chest infections ago, so I've obviously damaged it again this time, it's not bad at all now, but there's still a niggle. I've gotten back to the gym but am only doing uphill walking on a treadmill at the moment. It's bloody annoying!
Re: I see a lot of prepping but ....
i did martial arts when i was younger, kyokushinkai but as the years roll by and joints start to ache a less physical regime was called for.
I work as a gardener and love hill walking especially the hills of Donegal. My daughter asked me to do the couch to 5k with her starting soon,
Should be fun, I'm also looking into cycling this year and of course more hills to climb

I've got a new woman in my life does that count..... Often cycle to hers rather than take the car just biked with her up to work into a head wind I was surprised when she got off to walk (she's fit and active) I hadn't broken a sweat used to mountain bike in a big way then i did ligaments which took me out for about 2 years and a few chest infections the leg muscles are bulking back up nicely I also have a manual type job so am fairly fit even though ive been lumped with high blood pressure which seems to be a family curse....

Have been active (martial arts, hockey, hiking, weight training), then I started working from home and realised one day, after about a year, that I'd not actually left my house for a week! So started on a weekly regime of long walks at a local golf course a couple of times a week, restarted the weight training and dusted off the exercise bike. You've caught me in a post-Christmas lull and reminded me that I need commence with the 2015 workouts!

I've been off of weight training for some time as I've had a prolapsed disc (L1 from a car accident) which has put me out for a while.
I have recently given up smoking and got back into crossfit as my NY Resolution, fitness seems so much easier without the fags but I need to build up my strength more

I'm in pretty good shape and try to stay that way. I have a decent rowing machine and weights at home, so mix cardio with weight training to maintain my fitness levels.
In winter I either row indoors or run in the dark/cold/rain, in summer it's proper rowing or running.
Regardless of the time of year I make sure to drag the kids out walking/hiking to get them into the outdoors and keeping fit too.
Plus my daughter is old enough to start riding lessons so I'll have an excuse to get back out on horses again too, and they're both old enough for me to teach them to ski too...yay for kids!
