Introduction.

Post by reggieperrin »

Hello,

It seems I've had a prepping mentality for a few years but haven't 'shared' with other likeminded people.
I'm not planning for any particular SHTF event but like to think that I have the potential to survive anything that may happen.
I'm a firm believer that one single event won't bring problems but that the descent down a global slippery slope has already started.

Brief history;

Mid 40's, keen outdoorsman, qualified hunter and deer stalker, open firearms holder with multiple weapons, mechanical/electrical engineer by trade.
Wife is very capable gardener who produces our own veg.
Bolt hole is in southern France, with solar & ground sourced energy and rain store.

I'll be dipping in occasionally to learn and share ideas.

Nice to meet you all.

Thankyou for the warm welcome so far.
I'm sure over time most of my questions will be answered but for now can someone please explain the 'areas' for me?
Are there any regular meets of people who are close to each other.?

Thanks
